LEEDARSON: soft light to enjoy the life

LEEDARSON is an original brand created in 2014 and is part of the Xiamen LEEDARSON Group. Relying on the strong R&D and manufacturing capabilities of the Group in the lighting field for 17 years, they have built their brand on aesthetics from the East, using the art of light to warm people’s lives.

Founded in 2000, LEEDARSON Group has always focused on the development, production and sales of LED lighting, intelligent lighting and other lighting products. It has a Taiwan R&D base and three production bases in Xiamen, Zhangzhou and Sichuan, and employs more than 10,000 people. It ranks the first in the global LED export industry, selling to 85 countries, and achieves annual sales of more than 5 billion RMB.

LEEDARSON's Chief Designer Youzong HU is a famous industrial designer and curator from Taiwan. He has worked in the design departments of private companies, national museums, and industrial design companies. Hu aims to discover a unique design view from the East. He hopes to connect modern design with local culture through curation and cross-disciplinary communication.



LEEDARSON believes that "design is everywhere."

Good design reflects people's life quality: design can be unrestrained, full of ingenuity and enthusiasm; it can be humorous, serious or bold.

In 2017, LEEDARSON won 2 iF Design Awards.

In 2018, the touch-control light ‘Empto’ is the German Design Award winner of ‘Excellent Product Design Lighting'.

The Jury commented: “The striking design aesthetic of the Empto is reminiscent of a large pebble, with which the metal rod forms an exciting contrast. The product’s sloping position makes it even more unusual looking. A beautiful design that allows for agreeable atmospheric lighting and that also makes the luminaire a decorative object."

Empto is inspired by the natural mountain rocks displaced in Chinese culture. It creates a unique experience: when you touch the upper side of the metal rod, the light moves away from the rod like waves across the ‘sea’. The warm and soft light centres around the metal rod. The lampshade is made of ceramics.

Junzi

German Design Award 2018’s Jury stated: “This exceptional luminaire is suspended, lantern-like, from a filigree holder. The product's lampshade, whose patterns evoke the Orient, create a fascinating play of light and shadow.”

LEEDARSON’s luminaire products aim to give you a good time under the light. It integrates oriental philosophy into contemporary industrial design, shaping a tasteful space and comfortable lifestyle. It pursues health and humanity. The hidden light source enables people to enjoy the soft light, and the touch-control is designed to be very easy to use.

The lights may look simple, but careful considerations and many experiments are always involved in the development.
